General Replacement Procedure
Safety Preparation
Wear safety goggles and protective gloves; prepare tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers of the appropriate size; and verify that the specifications of the new spring match those of the original.
Removing the Old Spring
Slowly loosen the fasteners at both ends of the spring, maintaining control over the spring tension throughout the process to prevent sudden recoil that could cause injury.
Remove the worn-out spring and clean any rust or debris from the mounting shaft and mounting base.
Installing the New Spring
Ensure the spring's winding direction matches the design specifications; slide the spring onto the mounting shaft and align its ends with the designated anchor slots or mounting points.
Twist the spring to the specified number of preload turns as required by the equipment, then tighten the fastening nuts or screws at both ends in sequence.
Testing and Verification
Perform a no-load test run of the equipment; check that the spring rebounds smoothly without abnormal noise or binding, and confirm that the torque output meets operational requirements.
