Verify Spring Condition‌: Carefully inspect the spring body before installation to ensure there are no inherent defects such as cracks, rust, or deformation, and confirm that the model specifications fully match the design requirements.


‌Clean Contact Surfaces‌: Thoroughly remove burrs, welding slag, and debris from contact areas like mounting bases and hooks to prevent sharp edges or corners from scratching the spring surface and causing stress concentrations.


‌Use Proper Tools‌: Utilize specialized installation tools such as spring hooks or positioning pins; do not strike the spring directly with hard objects like hammers or screwdrivers to avoid localized impact damage.

 

Key Measures to Prevent Damage During Installation

 

‌Control Stretching Force‌: Apply force slowly and evenly when stretching the spring and strictly control the extension distance; never exceed the rated elastic limit to avoid irreversible plastic deformation.


‌Ensure Axial Loading‌: The tensile force must be applied along the spring's central axis; do not subject hooks to lateral shear or bending moments, as this can cause stress concentration at the hook base and lead to breakage.


‌Prevent Twisting or Misalignment‌: Keep the spring axis straight throughout the installation process; do not forcibly twist the spring, as this can cause misalignment and crushing between active coils, resulting in surface wear.
